This is my 2nd sample for CC675. I am your hostess this week and I chose dapper denim, fresh fig and lemon lime twist for the color trio. Dessert Option this week is to make it masculine.
I made this card for a 3 year old boy named Miles in Rhode Island who has liver cancer. He was brought to my attention by Jenn Lewis aka Jennifrann. He likes getting mail so this one will go out to him tomorrow.
The die cut greenery and the glitter paper are from the December 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit. I used a square die to cut my opening in the dapper denim card base.
I added a little hedgehog cut in crumb cake and soft suede cardstocks (neutrals). It's a die from Cottage. I used some alphabet dies from MFT to cut his name in fresh fig cardstock. Placed the letters on a lemon lime twist banner.
Added a couple of balloons to finish off this card. Hope you can play along with us this week and use these fun colors. The other DT members have some amazing samples to get your mojo going.

Mary, what a special and wonderful card to send to Miles! The hedgehog is adorable. (Did you know hedgehogs are the mascot of bobbin lacemakers?) I love the sparkly paper in the background, and the fun balloons!

Mary, this card, too, looks wonderful in the colors! I love the hedgehog, and I suspect Miles will also. What a heart-breaking story, Mary! I can't imagine the emotional pain his parents are experiencing. So nice of you to send him a card, Mary!
