I tried two techniques today. I know--I'm such an overachiever. LOL! I watched a video of someone coloring with ink and a Tombow blender, so I thought I could do it. But it wasn't fun for me. Well at least I can say I tried and this was the perfect challenge to try it. I was just so drawn to this beautiful stained glass window: https://www.google.com/search?q=stai...YCImPCwgbP5GM:
I traced two circle dies, drew in a wonky center circle and used a ruler to draw the rest of three lines. Then I laid out all my colors and just randomly colored in the sections. It was going to be a full sized panel but I got sick of coloring and cut it down with a stitched square die. It kind of reminds me of a chambered nautilus. I really like the pattern and will probably make another some day but I'll just color it with my Spectrum Noirs next time.

It’s made a beautiful sympathy card Jen and you’d never know it was a colouring technique that didn’t suit you, it looks wonderful. Like you, it put me in mind of a sea shell.

WOW! It is wonderful! I love the soft colors and it is perfect for a sympathy card! I am glad you tried a new color technique too - I love saying I've tried it even if I never do it again Thanks for taking my challenge this week!
