I didn't have any good iris stamps for today's Inspiration Challenge, but I really love the color of this Dance the Night Away iris and I thought it would be a really pretty color for tulips. This is a new to me stamp--given to me by a friend that was getting rid of her stamping collection. It's called Tulip Trio, but all three tulips didn't fit on my page, so it's a Tulip Duo. I had to add the twine and the sentiment where part of the third tulip smudged. This card was also inspired by the Simon Says Stamp Monday – Take Note Challenge. It reminded me that I really like those notebook paper dies, so I made myself a pattern for my ScanNCut and cut it out of this notebook paper.

Ooh I looked and looked for stamps with bulbs once way back when and I just love this Jennifer. (tulips are my most favorite flower) (of course that was whispered mentally so the others don't hear ) I love how you colored these.

I echo Julie's comment about the botanical drawing look of this image. Gorgeous! Your colouring is awesome and the notebook paper really reinforces the illustration style of the image. Great card!
