It's time for another Dueling Darling card. This month Kelly (Divas) and Jeanette (Dazzlers) came up with the theme of "something I love". Kelly's greatest love is Europe. Having been very fortunate to have lived in Europe as a child and traveling there as an adult.
Kelly sent us a variety of ways to use this set. She used her matching dies to cut out the set....along with the London Mice stamped in a row. So, we could either color just the mice or make a scene with it! I decided to go for the challenge and made a little scene using all the little die cut pieces!!!
I cut away half the front of the card....using the template to make the curves. Repeating the curve for the second row of hills with the dp. Sponged the distress ink on the edge of the hills. Then matched the dp hills with the card base hills. After that, I started placing all my little pieces. On the inside I added the words happy birthday.
Thanks for the challenge, Kelly! It really made me think outside of the box!!!
Thanks for taking a look!

This is ADORABLE! London is my most favourite place and this card brings back happy memories: I've been on the London Eye, gone on the Routemaster buses (some of the original ones still run on routes 9 and 15), toured Government buildings beside Big Ben (so got to see it from the "back" but couldn't go inside it as you have to be a resident), popped into a phone box for a photo and seen the Beefeaters at Buckingham Palace. Really want to go back now!
