So I totally failed at this painting with cardboard thing. I put way too much paint on my "brush" and it didn't look anything like the tutorial. So, I just covered the entire paper and made a pretty cool background for my boxer guy. There's always a silver lining, right? This card was also supposed to be combined with the Bugaboo challenge this week which was to use washi tape. But, try as I might, I simply could not find a way to put washi tape on this card.
This is a card that will go in my stash. I chose this digi, because I'm trying to use some of the digis that I have never used. I keep thinking I can put a really fun saying on the inside of this card, but I just can't come up with quite the right thing. Any ideas?

Your bg turned out Fab, Jenn, even though it's not what you had intended it to be! Love that boxer guy; too cute! How about something like: "Enjoy your cake and ice cream along with a little 'Punch'!" for your inside sentiment?

So cute and I love the background as well!! Roberta had a great suggestion for the inside or you could write "Happy Birthday! No matter how old you get, you are still a "knock out"! :-)

How about writing the age on the punching bag, and then saying on the inside....."Your age might be getting challenging, but you have a great right hook!!"
I love that bright red bg for this and what a cute masculine card this is.
