This is my sample for CC674. Robin is our hostess and she chose tempting turquoise, peek-a-boo peach and berry burst for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is twine.
I have seen several cards on Pinterest that had donuts in a box. And, I needed another Valentine card for a guy who likes donuts so that's where my card went this week.
My donuts are cut in the challenge colors wit ha die from CottageCutz. I used some dsp for the bottom 3 donuts and added stickles to 2 of them.
The box is cut from a rectangle die and I used a window sheet. Glued only the top part of the box and left the bottom open.
The background paper is from the Stampin'-Up "irresistibly floral" series. It's already embossed and designed as an ink resist paper. I sponged it with tempting turquoise ink. I thought the pattern was a somewhat masculine design.
To complete this card I added a love word in the corner of the donut box, stamped my sentiment on the heart and scattered a few hearts.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Robin has chosen some fun colors and the DT has some great samples to inspire you.
I was also thinking of food when I saw Robin's colors, LOL! I love how you made the box of donuts 3D and interactive (I'm a sucker for cards where you do something to it!) - so clever!

Don't you just love that paper you can sponge with whatever colors you need?!?! I did the same thing this week! Your donuts look good enough to eat, Mary, and I adore the punny greeting! What a fun card!
