Thank you Judy for the fun Painting With Cardboard Technique Challenge today.
I'm already past Valentine's Day and into Easter mode and after watching the YouTube video Judy posted with the challenge - I knew this wonderful Easter sentiment would be perfect inside the 'sunburst' look achieved using this technique!
I took an empty toilet paper roll and cut a fringe into one end - bent the fringe back and used it as my 'paint brush' as shown in the video. Dabbing the fringe into the paint and then onto my card panel - one color at a time - starting with the lightest color then darker colors.
I used 2 paints (Tango and Zesty Zing) on the orange card and 3 paints (Haystack, Guacamole and Sky) on the blue card. I added 3 white sequins to each card as well.
They work up really quickly - the hardest thing is deciding what colors to use!
It's so fun finding new techniques to use on our cards - Thanks again Judy!

Your cards with today's technique turned out SPECTACULARLY, Julia. Very smart to just add a sentiment...that's all that was needed on these outstanding cards.

These came out beautiful. Love your color choices and, your sentiment is the perfect touch. I failed at this as well for the first five times. I ran out of toilet paper rolls. Sad when I need to go through the recycle bin.
