This is for three challenges:
Monday's CAS challenge theme was "show us some heat".
Today's Free For All theme is "red hot love", to use hot colors and include a heart on the card
The MIX challenge for today is to use a technique that is a WOW for you. I chose two. First, I used Brusho water color crystals to create my background. I love sprinkling on the powders, spritzing with water, and watching to see what I get! So Fun! My second technique is Cracked Glass. I stamped the heart collage image in Real Red pigment ink and embossed with several layers of ultra thick embossing powder. Then I placed it in the freezer for about 10 minutes, removed it and carefully bent the heart to make the UTEE crack. I sponged some Walnut Stain Distress ink over the cracks and then wiped off the excess with a tissue. The cracks don't show up that well in the photo, but IRL, they're cool!
I finished this off with a few splatters of white acrylic paint to break up the red and yellow a bit and added some enamel dots and a die cut sentiment (3 layers stacked on top of each other for dimension). TFL

Wow, this is beautiful. I love how your background looks. Love the warm colors behind your heart. I love the look of the cracked UTEE but I have only liked my results once or twice. I usually get no cracks or too many. You did a great job. Thanks so much for playing along with my challenge. I hope you have a blessed day.
