The background was created using the Tissue Paper Watercolor technique (Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers. You simply press your ink pads to a non-porus surface, then spritz with water, smear it around, then lay white tissue paper on top of the ink pool. Let it dry for 30 minutes on a piece of paper towel, then glue to a piece of white cardstock.
Since I knew I wanted to create a flower in the garden background, I chose green, pink and blue ink. Then carefully moved the color around to approximately the areas I wanted flowers, sky and grass.
The black panel was die cut with some new Sizzix Wildflower dies I bought at the Idaho Scrapbook Show (the first ever in Idhao!) this past weekend. I let the black cardstock lay off the end of the Big Shot cutting plate so that it wouldn't cut the stem all the way through the bottom of the panel. Then just trimmed off the still-attached diecuts to remove them.
The card base is Stampin' Up! Melon Mambo. The ribbon is a generic pink I purchased at Michaels, and the "You" sentiment was cut using another new Sizzix die set called "Script".
The ribbon was wrapped around the back of the card, and cut to length so that the ends wouldn't show through the flower diecut opening. It was glued with Tombow. The bow was made from the same ribbon using a Bow-Easy bow maker (because making bows is NOT easy for me!).
This card required some planning out where the colors on the tissue needed to be to show through the diecut, but that wasn't very difficult. So, I am rating this a "3" out of "5" in terms of difficulty.

Thank you, Cook22! It took a little bit of planning to create the colors on the tissue so they would show through the diecut cutout like I wanted them,,,,, but it was worth it!
