This card is the second for the Teapot Challenge that Polly aka peeps321 is hosting for this week ~ to use Van Gogh paintings as inspiration, this time I have used Sunflowers as my inspiration.
However I haven't really masted working with powder paint (I'm too heavy handed as you can see) I'm not entirely happy with the end result but it is bright and it is a sunflower.
I applied the powder with dry soft round brushes and then spritzed it with water.
You will all be pleased to know no stencils were hurt during this process and I only needed to use the brick to hold down the little banner while the teeny tiny dots of glue dried behind the greeting.
Happy stamping everyone
Cheers
Marg

The bright, rich colors on this are exquisite....they are so like what Van Gogh used in all his paintings. I am in awe....love this!! Glad you got to utilize your craft room brick and that it or any stencil wasn't hurt ;)

How very pretty, Marge, and I knew right away what your inspiration was. That flower just bursts right off the page. I love how bright and happy this is.

Personally, I love what your heavy-handed painting created, Marg!!! It is WONDERFUL!!! I love the vibrant colors and how you are combining them to create this stunning piece of artwork! Using vellum for your sentiment is inspired, for it doesn't cover any of your art, yet it gives us another perspective. The gold on the patterned layer below the focal element adds a lovely warmth.
I am wildly impressed, Marg!!! This is in my favorites, I LOVE it!!!
