Ky brought us to the blog site of mixed media artist Kate Crane today. I followed her video on using a gelli plate and doing a faux watercolor with acrylic paints. After that I did a lot of layering with stencils, stamping, etc....The girl is a photo stamp which is stamped with StazOn on glossy paper....I had fun doing this!

It is addicting! I may have to get my plate back out and play. I love all the details and the valentine vibe is excellent. Thanks for coming to play, Polly!

Love your card, Polly! I didn’t have a geli plate but managed with acrylics and my clear plastic mat. It really is a fun technique, and I have more acrylic paper to play with! The best part was getting out an artsy stamp.
