This is for Polly's fabulous Tickle a Teapotter challenge, Lend an Ear.
I took my inspiration from both of Van Gogh's paintings, Sunflowers and Starry Nights. I stamped some flourishes and stars on the dark blue card base then cut a window out of a brick embossed piece from my stash. Backed the window with acrylic. Cut a window sill out of TH packaging. Stamped the sunflowers and colored them with alcohol markers and colored pencils. I used my fan brush with white paint to get the reflection on the vase. Fussy cut the vase of sunflowers and popped it up with dimensional tape. Had lots of fun, TFL!

Oh, I love that starry swirly sky we are seeing through the window. Thank goodness cards lets us capture what cameras wouldn't - a beautiful interior still-life with sunflowers and a magical night sky.

CLEVER, Carla...love how you've combined two VanGogh's into one! That flourish stamping in silver on the navy cs...looks so Starry Night in a delicate way (love that look). Your window brick embossing looks perfect as a backdrop for the sunflower vase. I'd say you nailed the challenge with your own beautiful sunflower-starry night confection!
