This card is for my husband's birthday, which is right around the corner. I had decided on a tool card and wanted to try another waterfall card, but before I began, I checked out SCS challenges to see what might inspire me. I found five challenges that would fit my card if I used the dies I already had in mind and one that inspired my color scheme. I entered one additional listed in #6, which will explain why it is last and I didn't include it in the mention of the first five. Here is my challenge list:
#1: Waterfall Technique...posted to Waterfall cards.
#2: Alphabet Challenge - 1/17/18. Letter W = Waterfall card/ Double Challenge = use decorative scissors...I used Pinking Shears on the foil side borders.
#3: Ways to Use It - WT672 - 1/25/16: "Give Me A Second Chance"...use stamps/ tools that have been unused for a great length of time. I used Spellbinders Pinking Circles bought in 2010, haven't used in three years; Arygle embossing folder bought in 2012, haven't used in at least three years; Pinking Shears, are 50-years-old and have been missing for over three years...just found them this week!
#4. Inspiration Challenge - IC634 - 1/27/18 - browse needepoint.com and find inspiration for a card. My inspiration for my color scheme comes from Maggie and Company Sept Kitty. See it here: https://needlepoint.com/sept-kitty-26129.html.
#5. USEIT2018 - an annual, ongoing challenge every week to find unused craft items that could be mildewing and use them. See #3 - Ways to Use It for my description of using old items.
#6. Free 4 All - Happy Groundhog's Day...he pops up out of his burrow to see if he has a shadow. Make an interactive Pop-Up card or use a theme having to do with popping, i.e., popcorn. I'm entering my waterfall card...it is interactive and the layers do pop up and fold over when you pull the tab ribbon...seemed like it might fit???

Carlene, you've done it again with all the challenges.....super work. I haven't made a waterfall card in such a long time and they are so fun. Your hubby is sure to get a kick out of this card. Good job with the colors from my challenge. Oh, and I saw the groundhog this morning gave us 6 more weeks of winter weather. Yuck!!! :(

Fabulous work fitting in so many challenges! Love the masculine tool theme. Colors are great. I especially like the silver edges cut with the pinking shears. I think a waterfall card definitely pops-up more than once - excellent idea for the challenge! Well built! TFS

I'm always impressed with waterfall cards. You did a great job on this technique. Guys don't usually get "fun" cards, but some lucky guy will certainly enjoy this one.

Oh, a waterfall card!!! I love it!! Carlene, you did a remarkable job on creating a card that fits all of the listed challenges! I love the masculine tool theme with the pinking shears cut silver pieces. Those really add to the masculine theme! I love everything about this, and I especially love the waterfall feature. I have wanted to create one for a while but didn't have the time. You've inspired me, sweet lady!!

This is a wonderful waterfall card, Carlene! I love the colors, the images, fabulous. My DH would love it too as he loves cards with engineering. Brilliant card!
