This is for Dawn's Free 4 All Challenge on Groundhog Day - do a pop-up card. Cute idea! I did something new-to-me. I used this SCS tutorial for a Pop up gift card holder:
I'm sending a gift card to my SIL for a specialty food store in her area, so I used the SU! stamp set "Yummy".
The card is a little bulky; it has a gift card inside after all. The tutorial suggests a belly band of some kind to hold the card closed. I attached ribbon under the sentiment layer on the front, so it can wrap around and tie at the side.
Thanks Dawn for inspiring me to try something new!
Consider taking this opportunity for try something new - I would recommend this tutorial - or show us a favorite pop-up technique. TFL

Your gift card holder is a great pop-up and I still have some of that paper as well. I love the way you used the ribbon under the sentiment to tie it closed!

This is terrific! I still have some of this dsp, plus a full unopened package! I think I'll put it to work with some sweet sugar plum card stock.
My hubby and I send a DQ gift card to family members with each birthday card. I'll have to try this style of card. Thanks for the inspiration.
