DD8ABC25Y: this week we are on the letter Y. My Y's are yellow, you in the sentiment, and the stamp set You Brighten My Day.
TLC675: this week's technique lover's challenge provided the background behind my lightbulbs. It seemed like a perfect background for lightbulbs and the metallic cs seemed perfect for a lightbulb card too.
I used this week's sketch challenge to make the card. I stamped the light bulbs directly on the background paper as well as separately, fussy cutting each one, coloring a little, and popping them up on dimensionals.
The acetate inking was fun, I can see this as a fun technique to revisit.
Thanks for looking!

Catherine, you totally outdid yourself with this fabulous creation. The hanging lightbulbs and your sentiment are downright brilliant my friend! The bg technique you did is perfect for this card and so is all the sparkle and shine. What a fun card this will be to give to someone, and so terrific for all of the challenges too. ~Karen.
So many clever ideas - you must have had a lightbulb moment. Love your technique on the metallic paper - super cool! I need to try that out! And, I love your idea to use lightbulbs for this sketch.
