I have used a few items from my scrap box for this card. The bg was done a while ago and pretty sure it was done with an EF, ink and water on the watercolour paper. The vellum sentiment is from a long expressions & sayings pad I have had for years. The hearts I only did a few weeks ago but put in the reject pile - I used my white wink of stella pen on it and felt I had gone too far and used too much. Today I quite like the look of it and so it has made its way onto a card! The beautiful velvet ribbon I bought from a local store many years ago.

Sometimes the key is just to lay something aside. The perfect project comes along and that rejected piece just fits the bill. I love when that happens. This piece worked out super on this card for this challenge.

You used your "left-overs" wonderfully Sue. The piece of velvet adds a nice texture.

This is really pretty. I like the soft background and vellum sentiment. Glad you rescued your heart from the bin because it looks very cool! Luscious velvet ribbon!
