I made 4 cards like this - the other 2 w/ different patterned paper are in my gallery.
My SIL wanted to buy several b-day and thank you cards so I needed to whip up several and I came up w/ these. They were really quick and easy - only the B took longer to cut out and whatnot!
I did the kissing technique for the monograms. I inked up the Linen BG then kissed the uninked B to it and stamped it. The T I inked up then kissed it to an uninked canvas BG - see the first set I uploaded to see what I did w/ the "reverse" T.
The patterned paper was in a slab I got at Costco.

Love the paper, and the retro simplicity of it! All thought I know first hand cutting and matting those monogrmas is anything but simple. They look perfect.
