I had some time today to play in the TLC challenge trying out Karen Dunbrook's technique called Acetate Inking. I wanted to keep a horizontal appearance as I thought it would look good with my heart, and I wanted light and fun colours as this is for a male friend who loves my cards and loves colour. The pink and red just didn't cut it for me ... giggles. I did the layers using the lemonade, fozzilized amber and spiced marmalade, then stamped the heart using the persimmon. I then stamped it again with the versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, then die cut the piece with the deckled rectangle and attached with foam tape. The sentiment is stamped in the monarch ink, and I finished with the nuvo jewel drops in yellow and orange. Thanks for having a look. aplaceforkia
