I decided to color this adorable image with my copic markers. When I cut the image out with my Cross stitch die, I left it in the die and sponged around the edges with Distress Ink Vintage Photo. Thought it would be fun to give the image a slant to it.

I love tilted panels; always adds a bit of liveliness I think! Your colouring is magnificent! The DP in the background works so well with your beautiful poppies! Great card!

What gorgeous coloring, Tracie, and I LOVE the layout (the tilt is perfect)! And I love the DP you've used. Beautifully finished with the sponging! Hugs!

Love the tip on using the die as a mask for your sponging. I will try to remember that. Subtle neutral colors of beige and black give this poppy girl a totally different look.
