I saw that the Rubbernecker challenge this time was grunge and thought I wanted to try it. I wasn't even sure what qualified as grunge so I googled it. I can honestly say that all I can tell is grunge is paint splatters and such. So I mixed some dried up gesso with some brown ink refills and flicked it on my paper. (What a mess!) Then took some distressed inks and sponged around it. Thought it still needed something so I got the stencil and a darker brown. I guess I'm happy with the results. I used a golf sentiment but I can remember my grandfather's old tractor making a putting sound when we rode together. I am entering this card into the following challenges.

I love the grunge look background! The brown gesso spatters and the chicken wire stenciling are perfect for the old tractor. The tractor is colored/shaded beautifully too. Hideko

Adorable card. We own a tractor like this and we use it to bale hay.. You colored your image so nicely. I would also like to thank you for taking the time to comment on my ***** willow and tulip card. Thanks for taking the time to do that.

Amy, I love it and think you do grunge well! I’ve not tried it myself and should someday, but I truly love your wonderfully colored tractor and love the adorable sentiment. I can remember my uncle’s tractor making puttering sounds too. Fabulous masculne card, and I can see why it was favorited! Hugs!
