Many of you know that I lost my husband unexpectedly in December of 2016. Last month one of my dear friends suffered the same loss. Learning to live alone is a long, hard process. I plan to send her cards of encouragement throughout the coming year. This is the first one I am sending since the sympathy card I sent in December.

Your peaceful, lovely card caught my eye right away, and once I read your w rite up I cssn see that you put extra love into it. The sentiment and scene are so nice and perfect for your friend. I love the soft, misty feel you captured.

Such a soothing card. So great with the light house in the great bg and the fun fence and bike. Makes a super scene and the message is perfect. So sweet of you to provide comfort and encouragement to your friend. So sorry about both of your losses. Many hugz

So sorry for your loss and your for your friend's loss, also. I will sure she will find comfort in all the cards you send. That is such a special thing to do.

This is such a lovely scene of a place that would surely bring comfort to me if I were to receive it. I am sorry to hear of the loss of your husband and I'm sure this last year has been a very difficult time of grief and adjustment. Over the past 14 months, 5 of my friends or relatives have lost their husbands. This past December, my dear friend and my cousin both lost their beloveds within 3 days of Christmas. I have been, and continue to do the same as you are; sending cards of encouragement and love each month. We are fortunate to have a hobby that might bring comfort to our friends. Hugs to you!

What an incredible comforting card you created for your friend. Your scene is lovely, and I'm sure your card will be appreciated. I am so sorry to hear of your loss and your friend's. I too am a widow, 14 years now, and I appreciated all the love, encouragement and comfort I received, whether it be cards, visits, phone calls, etc. It is indeed a difficult journey to be on your own. You are doing a beautiful thing.
