I would have been making a flower card today to send to a dear elderly member of my book club who is in hospital. I've sent my flower cards to her before and I know she loves them. Brenda chose the perfect inspiration 'shop' for me today and I chose these anenomes https://needlepoint.com/shop/kits/el...e-pitcher.html
I cut the flowers at 1'' on my Cricut, drenched them in water and added splodges of ink. When dry I shaped them, and dabbed black acrylic into the centres with an old paintbrush. I machine cut the cup and saucer at 3'' adding a scrap to define the cup base and popped up with foam pads after lightly sponging with Vintage Photo around the edges. My dear friend is a 'lady' in every sense so I added a doily which I'm sure will tickle her!

Such beautiful anemones and great job making them. I'm sure your lady friend will love this card. Who wouldn't? Nice touch with the added doily.

This caught my eye immediately! Love the rich reds and purples. Thanks so much for the details on your creative process! :-) I almost never use my Cricut on cards (just for scrapbooking). Obviously I should be! This is a beautiful card that I am sure will delight the recipient!
Wow! This is so beautiful! You found a wonderful inspiration photo and brought it to life on your card. Your flower technique is gorgeous. The added doily is a sweet touch!

Smiling here, love when someone gives inspiration to us. I've been trying to use my cricut more, and you gave me a whole new way of doing flowers. Thanks. This card is beautiful with all the dimension you created. Can't wait to try this technique. Fav'd

Great teacup with flowers, Sandie. This will cheer her up for sure!!! Super pretty and well done. Book club? I want to be in a book club! I just read a book about a book club - it sounded so fun. Love this!
