Challenge is to give me a second chance. The tool I chose is a border punch. Been a long time since I used it. Always had a hard time lining up the edge.
I also decided to see what else I had, this foral image was stamped and already colored. I think it is from a stamp club I belonged to a while back. We would stamp off several copies of each others stamps.
Cut the border, added to stamped piece, added lace and pierced one corner. TFL

So glad you got the border punch out, Carolyn. Beautiful way to showcase the pretty sentiment. Your card is lovely. Thank you for playing in my challenge.

Lovely colours...the aqua, kraft and spring green are so fresh. Your border punch looks great. The first couple I bought were Fiskars ones (with international shipping often being weight-based, buying big punches from anywhere further than the UK was never practical) and they really only punch DP. I'm always envious of those of you who can punch card. It adds such a great finish. Thank goodness dies are much cheaper to ship...but border dies are even harder to line up!!

I used to use them a lot border punches but now they are all broken...so I don't got any more and you made me think about that with your pretty lace border, I love the color combo and the beautiful ribbon and coloring, I hope you will use this tool more often!!

Great boarder punch, love it on your wonderful bright cheery birthday card. I have tons of punches and actually use many of mine but there are some that have not been used in years. I should probably go through them and weed out the ones that I have not used and see if I can start using them again or donate them. This would be one that I would probably keep if I had it as it makes a great lace boarder quickly. Wonderful card!

I have a drawer full of border punches myself. Guess I may be digging through that drawer for my tool today too. Your card is so pretty and how great it is that you made use of things just lying around waiting to be used. I think that is a great sense of accomplishment.

What a beautiful birthday card this is! I have always admired this wonderful flourish stamp, and these colors just make it sing! The delicate lace and wonderful eyelet punched border make this card feel so much like spring- and like celebrating! Fun! ~Karen.
