Here's my card for this week's Fun on the Farm Teapot Tuesday challenge. Since Sue mentioned in her request for cards for Betty that she liked owls, I went in that direction, and added little stitched leaves for Pat's challenge element.
I used the BOX CARD tutorial from our Tutorials section. There's always such a long gap in the intervals between making them that I forget the fold - though it's a basic origami style box.
Luckily, I got that part done before I got sick. I stamped my owl and sponged the background last night while cooking dinner, and then coloured it with pencils and added the embroidered leaves after I'd gone back to bed.
Stamped a verse for the belly-band this morning, and that's it.
The inset photo shows the closed card.

This is beautiful! I love the color combo in the patterned paper. SU! had a pack of this paper with this combo about 8 years ago and I still treasure every scrap! I have never made this box card, but I love origami so I will have to try it!

Wow, this looks fancy! So unique Lisa. You're like me...I stamped and colored critters Monday evening but didn't cut them out or assemble the card until this morning before work. Totally wish I had more time to play.
