This is for Sabrina's challenge today. I glued my paper towel to some cardstock with rubber cement then ran it through my Big Shot with a Spellbinders die to get the cut, rather than tearing it.

Good choice(or good luck) to choose a paper towel with uniform texture. Lets your marvelous white flowers, foliage, and butterfly hold center stage, Jo.

Jo, what an awesome background you achieved using the technique! It is so nicely cut as a result of using a die. The floral piece and butterfly really pop against the background!!

Mahogany and white just beautiful together, Jo, this is so lovely! My first attempt at this challenge was fine to start with- inked the patterned towel, successfully ran through the Big Shot, but disaster when I tried adhering to the c/s so will have to find time for attempt no.2!

Absolutely beautiful, Jo!! That soft, speckled background is perfect for your elegant CAS design. It reminds me of some paper I once had with little flecks of mica in it.

Those pristine white die cuts really pop out against the mahogany bg. Those tiny bead centers on the flowers and rhinestone bodied butterfly are nice finishing touches.
