I have several of Karen's cards in my favorites; this is one of them. I had actually planned to case it this week for a teenage girl battling cancer; she loves pink & purple and sparkle & glitter.
Changes: colors, butterfly die, sentiments in the corners instead of embellishments, added sequins.
I used Karen's technique as she described. It's much more sparkly than shows in the picture. The sentiments are heat embossed in sparkle embossing powder; it sparkles, but it changed the pink & purple colors. Oh well. The sequins are fun; they are clear, and like magic (thus the name), they pick up whatever colors are around. Fun card to make for a courageous young lady.
Thanks Julie for the challenge. Thanks Karen for sharing your fabulous cards with us and inspiring mine today. Thank you for looking!

Awesome case of Karen's gorgeous card. Your colors look wonderful even if they changed, and boy do those sequins pick up the color perfectly. Well done, Diane!

I can absolutely see your inspiration shine thru. I LOVE the glittery bg behind your die cut butterfly and the addition of the sequins brings the sparkle front & center too!
