I had fun creating this card that I will send to Linda. I sprinkled Color Burst powder in the two colors on the Blooms Fill In background stamp, spritzed with water, and then printed to get this fun watercolor-like effect but with bold color. This is the first print with the full impact of the Color Burst.
I then heat embossed the sentiment, popped it up on fun foam for dimension, added silver cord, a strip of glitter paper down the side for sparkle and called it done.
Thanks for looking!

Never got the brushos or anything similar but your background is great! Does not need much to finish for a card as is show stopper with the background alone.

That background stamp had worked beautifully with the powders! The flowers still stand out distinctly and yet there's a lovely overall abstract feel to the card. Great sentiment, too.

OMGosh, Catherine...this is so pretty! Brushos are on my list of WANTS, pretty please!! Been checking out prices... This is such a fabulous color palette...love your sentiment! So sad...missed this in the gallary until after my list was up as I was the starter this week! Someone else will surely get it in!

Catherine, this is really gorgeous. I have never thought to do this as a resist technique before so thank you for the wonderful inspiration. I adore the colors you used and the hint of sparkle is really fabulous too! ~Karen.

Wowza terrific BG on the card with the Color Burst, Linda is going to just love this. I always love blue on cards they draw me in and this is no exception. Thank you so much for joining in on the teapot challenge.
