WT671 = Let's Resist! - any kind of resist technique - I used emboss resist.
I made this card first. I stamped both the holly image and the small random dots from the SU Itty Bitty Background set in white, and then in my haste, I grabbed the clear embossing powder. Having done emboss resist in the past, I've learned that white embossing powder gives a more distinct image, but I quite like the subtlety of this. I did exactly the same image and similar colours to do a comparison. See here for the other version.
I flooded the whole panel with water and dropped a pale green over the whole thing, then went back in with pale blue and a mauve-blue just on the background to give variation. I then took a fine pointed paintbrush and added dark green to all the holly leaves.
I mounted it on fun foam, framed with a pierced frame die, added red Stickles to the berries, and a small sentiment.

What a Beautiful effect of dropping colored water onto your embossed image, Susan! I need to remember that. Your berries shine so perfectly and the holly leaves are a Stand-out!!!!!

Love this! It has a marvelous icy feel with the colors and pretty bg. The sparkling berries are perfect. Both cards are beautiful, this is my favorite.
