This card was made for a few challenges. I also needed a card for a friend's 50th...usually I buy cards for special birthdays but decided this year I will make them and use up my stash. I'd seen a LO on Pintrest using this stamp set that I hadn't opened, and which was perfect for my friend.
After stamping the image I decided to use my Zig watercolour pens which rarely see the light of day. I'd finished the green when I suddenly realised that I wanted to add a champagne bottle and glasses....ooops. So out came my magicals and anything else I could find to try and get some gold onto the bottle and bubbles.
The balloon was layered with 4 die cuts. The colour was a new SU Pink Pirouette ink I hadn't opened and by the time I had swiped it twice on my cardstock, the pad was dry....very disappointing and more so as I hadn't got the refill. Still all was not lost and after adding some wink of stella it gave it lots of shine.
The numbers were an old SU stamp set I also had forgotten I had....way too much stash that needs to be used in my craft room....which were fussy cut after embossing.
Bling and twine added and more wink of stella to give lots of shine which doesn't show up in this photo.
The inside of the card and envelope were stamped with celebration sentiments and the champagne bottle and glasses.

Great job on all the challenges! This card is fabulous on so many levels! First, kudos for using stash! I love this image and didn’t buy it, but am still temped! And great job on fussy cutting that 50!
Love the fifty reasons to keep dancing sentiment you used inside! Your friend will love this!
