This is my card for Toni's WTUI challenge this week - you ccan find the challenge HERE.
I used Dina's great Layered Batik Resist tutorial, because I wanted to give it another go. I think I didn't use colours with enough contrast, so that there's not much obvious layering of the wildflowers, but I liked the finished card.
I'm sorry, I made this over the holidays when I was sick, and didn't make a note of all the stamps I used. Definitely the sentiment is TCP, and the Stampendous Agapanthus is there. I think the other wildflowers are Unity (Insightful Meadows), the big butterfly is TH flutter and the little ones are from a Penny Black cling set.
I followed the tutorial, making sure to allow plenty of drying time between each layer, I think I made this over two days. I spritzed it with water, distressed the edges and added it to a card base with a scored frame around the edges. The sentiment was stamped on a scrap, and I added a few little drops of Glossy Accents here and there.

This is a lovely scene. I think the different coloring of the wildflowers, if slight, gives it nice depth. I'm a huge fan of the distressed and curling edges.

I have not tried this technique but it is extremely effective on your card. I think there is great contrast to the light verses the dark on the images and the card is spectacular.
