I was sick off and on, mostly on, from Thanksgiving through New Years and beyond. That's NOT my happy memory. My amazing hubby got me roses to help me feel better, and that's my happy memory. Sometimes it seems like these 'sinus/flu/cold/cough' things go on forever! I was getting so discouraged. And one day, there they were. On the dining room table, already in a vase and so pretty. They really did pick up my spirits.
So, for my card for Robin's Free For All Challenge, to stamp a happy memory, I decided to stamp roses.
Stamps are from Power Poppy, and I colored them with Faber Castell Polychromos colored pencils. I used patterned paper, for a Power Poppy challenge. I am outside of my comfort zone here. I am not a fan of patterned paper, and rarely use it. That's one fun thing about challenges. They get you doing/using things you normally wouldn't. Fun to mix it up now and then, don't you think?!
You can find details of the stamps I used, and the technique at my blog post HERE.

Fabulous card with expert coloring. Beautiful image. Love all the bright and cheery colors. What a special memory at the end of 2017. I was sick in December, too. Not a fun time to be stuck in bed not feeling well. Glad you are up and making cards again! Love the die-cut frame, too. Well done. TFS
