My aim this year is to use up supplies I already have such as this long retired dp and the candy dots. I heat embossed the flowers with the intention to colour, using chalks, but where are my chalks!!! I have clearly put them in a safe place, ha! So to my trusty Derwent coloured pencils. After colouring the flowers, I softly sponged with the Pear Pizzazz ink and die cut using the circle dies. I also used my white Wink of Stella pen in the centre of the flowers. Added the sentiment, lace & candy dots.

Oh, this is such a gorgeous thinking of you card - so soft and feminine. You used your dsp and brads in a most lovely way on this card. I giggled about your chalks because I just found mine after 5 years of looking for them! Ha! I hope you find yours sooner. ~Karen.

This is so pretty Sue!! I really like how you've used the dp 3/4 of the way across and put your lace on the edge. Your image is so soft and beautiful. I'm right there with you - use some of the older stuff. I try to not buy new until I've used at least a bunch of the old.

I admire your goal to use up supplies on hand, it can certainly be a challenge when shiny, new things show up lol! Beautiful coloring of that pretty floral image and wonderful card design!
