The birds are stamped and then watercoloured with my Gansai Tambi paints. I did a wash under them to ground them and then I used the tip of a fine pointed paintbrush to add the dots above them to represent snowflakes.
For the frame, I took a piece of watercolour paper and used the splash technique with Distress inks to add colour to it, and then used two sizes of rectangle dies to cut it into a frame. I trimmed the panel with the birds to fit behind it, stuck the frame onto it, and popped it up with fun foam.
For a final touch, I added glue and fun flock to the hats' brims and pom poms.
