I liked the rainbow colors and also how they were somewhat muted with the addition of the black in this image here.
Die cut a rectangle, masked for my moon, and sponged the bg. I love how the addition of the black mutes the colors. Removed the mask, added a bit of shadowing on the moon with gray, then stamped my new Gina K Designs image (love this!), splattered the bg with water, blotted with paper towel, splattered white acrylic paint and then some diluted black for more interest. Matted this panel, attached to card front and stamped sentiment.

Absolutely gorgeous! I love the background (thanks so much for the details)! The silhouetted image is splendid and I really love the illusion that it is a sculpture supporting the orb (of the moon). :-) Wonderful card!
Ohhh! This is gorgeous in every way!!!! I love the colors and the image is so striking! Grand design here! BTW I love what you did with your moon. I knew I needed to do a little something to my moon but wasn't sure if I would mess it up. I didn't think of adding a few shadows! Yours looks fabulous!

Just a beauty, Maura. Love the shadowed moon and those delicious colors in the background. Pretty image, also.
