My memory this Christmas is having my amazing MIL move in with us. She has been so wonderful helping with all the running, helping me clean, and just being an ear when we need one. She had her quilt friends over for Christmas and bought the most beautiful poinsettia that is still so stunning in our living room. I love walking by it every day and seeing the beauty.
CCC18JUN - Remake a card from 2017 I loved this CARD however it took a while to put together with the cut BG, stamping, coloring, shimmer paint and layering. This one is much quicker only cutting, layering and adding Nuvo Drops. Plus I cranked out 3 to try to get ahead of the number of Christmas cards I will need for 2018. I need about 25% more cards this year so starting early.
Super quick cards, the flowers were already cut (using stuff up) I punched out the green sprigs and layered. Stamped the sentiment and cut the borders. Finished the cards off with ribbon and Nuvo drops.
I would love it if you would check out my Blog: Shoe Girls Cards.
Thank you for looking!

Gorgeous holiday card, Lisa. That cut and embossed pointsetta is lovely and deserves to be the focal point on a card. The lace edge and checked ribbon are the perfect finishing touches.

What a wonderful Christmas for you, still loving it with the RED poinsettias! And lucky you, to have an "ear to listen, and a shoulder for the everyday labors of life" with someone who loves you!! Bless you both!

These are stunning, Lisa! There is nothing better on Christmas cards than rich red, deep green and white IMO! The poinsettias are stunning and I love the pretty borders you added - I like them both! What a heartwarming story of having your dear MIL move into your home! I wish more people could feel this way about their older family members. My husband's grandma lived with his family for many of his growing-up years and he and his siblings have such wonderful memories of that!

Your cards are beautiful Lisa. I love the inspiration behind it and the relationship you have with your MIL. We all know that you are a gem, it sounds like she is too.
