My mind is circling around altered boxes and mixed or multimedia at the moment, so I went for a tiny round travel case with room inside for many treats and surprises. I absolutely love the Faux Stamped Leather tutorial so I made my hatbox strap to resemble leather. I have more circles in the shape of the clock charm, clocks and rimless glasses stamped on the paper, and the round brads used to hold the handle to the case. With handle, this box stands 5” tall.

Oh, I love this! It reminds me so much of some of my grandmother's cases, I believe I remember using one very like this ( no clock, though) for family holidays when I was little. A surprise to see this, I was expecting a quilt!

I do believe you are giving Tim Holtz a good run for his money with this fabulous travel case. I am so in love with what you have done here. Have you ever thought of selling items like this on ETSY before? Just a thought... ~Karen.
