We learned today of the passing of a work colleague. Both her and her husband worked at the same place we did. She has been fighting cancer for a few months and lost her battle at the weekend - she is now in her heavenly home and at peace. I used slightly muted versions of this weeks colours (CC669) and this week's sketch (SC679). The lovely butterfly is from Chocolate Baroque and the sentiment, one I have used several times is from Verve.

Such a beautiful card, Janine. That is such a pretty butterfly, and such a wonderful symbol of resurrection. That sentiment is one of my favorites I use for sympathy cards too. So sorry for the loss of your co-worker. Sending prayers for her family and friends.

That butterfly is gorgeous! Beautiful framing with the sketch. A gorgeous sympathy card. I am so sorry to hear of your work colleague. It's a comfort to know that she is at peace and is enjoying the best health ever now! Hugs!

Beautiful card for this sad occasion. I LOVE your sentiment....and will probably use it when I need one for such an occasion. The softness of your coloring and colors are perfect for a sympathy card, IMO.
