I made this for Angela Bode (ohmypaper!) - she is the guest of honor at this week's tea party. Angie was involved in a serious car accident and is recovering so we're sending a bunch of sunshine her way.
I created my sunny background by inking up a piece of WC paper with Distress & Distress Oxide inks. I layered a rubber embossing mat with the sunburst coverall cutting die before running it through the machine so the die didn't cut all the way through but rather left an embossed pattern. I used Copics to color these little critters and propped them up with some foam dimensionals.

Angie will smile big time when she gets this. I'm smiling here on a cold dark morning, and I know that a card in the hand is so much more than just looking on screen. Your inky background is fab, more so with the embossed sun rays. And those little animals - so cute!
