'My inspiration piece is on my computer screen. I remember these aluminum trees from the 60's.
I colored white pearls to be the colors of the rainbox to add. Yeah, I have now met my January quota for Chistmas cards. Time to move onto Valentines for the rest of January.

Oh how I remember when those aluminum trees were all the rage - with the color wheels spinning beneath them ( your swirly dp off to the side reminded me of those). Great Job recreating your inspiration piece.

What a cute tree from your inspiration, Liz. I have one of those aluminum trees I bought at an antique shop some years back...so does one of our sons. He loves them.

I love the way you used the rainbow colors of the inspiration piece for your own tree......love that bow as well, mf!
