MSP4 - Misti Monday – Holiday Happiness – use layering stamps. It’s past the holidays, but it’s still happiness to use my Misti. I ordered Altenew’s Build A Rose stamp set with coordinating dies on Black Friday and wanted to use it for this challenge. I was intimidated by it, with so many layers. Today, I tried out the rose, and I’m going to need more practice with five steps building from light to dark colors. The leaves have three steps and definitely less daunting. Cut them out with coordinating die. At first, I tried stamping with an acrylic block to see the difference, but that didn’t work well, especially trying to do more than one. Then I used my Misti and that was happiness! If you don’t get a good impression, no problem; if it’s not as dark as you want; no problem, if you want to make more than one, (you guess it!), no problem.
WT669 – New item – Altenew Build a Rose stamp set & dies – thanks for the “nudge” to finally use these
F4A411 - Free 4 All Challenge – Use stripes – retired DSP
DD8ABC14N - Alphabet Challenge – Letter N – Nightingale bird – often heard singing at Night and is known for its beautiful & powerful song – thus the music background, verse with N words (never, nor, not)
Personal goal 2018 – use up left-overs – pre-stamped image, retired paper – stripes & red, piece of doily
Thanks for looking!

What a beautiful card!! I love the colors, the leaves surrounding your image, and the Bible verse is wonderful. You really created a nice card for all of those challenges.

Love that scripture of encouragement and that is one of my favorite stamps. It will forever be in my collection of stamps. So happy seeing it used today on this lovely card.

I love the colors you have used on this image (One of my very favorites). These stripes are perfect choice for the image and the way you colored it. The added leaves really frame the bird beautifully! I feel a case coming on!
