This card was designed to show how you can do great things with no measuring! I am so psyched at how that 1 3/8" square punch works with so many stamp sets... Also, I like the way the small backgrounds make the background look like wallpaper for the window...
I held my first Stamp Camp on the small island where I live. Though it was sparsely attended due to great weather and poor timing and little advertising, I did manage to get 4 attendees and $150 in orders -- so I am pretty proud of that.
Even cooler is that I designed and made all the samples, folks finished them all in the allotted time, and everyone really learned a lot! (Including me...)
It is amazing how I was able to design cards using certain tools to showcase their use/value -- and how helpful it was to design in my head before getting to the studio.
I became a demonstrator only 3 1/2 months ago, on the day my daughter was born -- so all of these cards were designed while nursing her, and made when Daddy could hold her and let me work. Being forced to design and think it through in my head when I cannot work has really led me to interesting places!
