I used frog tape to mask off a horizon line and using distress inks and a brush I flicked upward lines to create trees. Then I removed the tape and painted trunk lines and sponged the sky. I also used the tape as a mask for the foreground area and touched up the trees with peerless watercolors. I masked off the sentiment stamp so that only happy birthday would show. I thought this would make a masculine card for a friend whose birthday is today.

Wow! Awesome. Beautifully done from your inspiration. Terrific take on it. Love the row of trees. Just a little blurry. Clean and simple. Very nicely done! TFS

An awesome masculine card....beautiful scene. I use frog tape, too, and love it.
