Happy New Year, everyone! It's time for another Color Challenge and this week Mary is our host, having chosen Sweet Sugarplum, Mint Macaron and Chocolate Chip. Dessert is to use something new, which I passed on for this card.
To start I die cut the garland and flowers, loosely watercolored them with Distress Oxide inks, then added to the previously die cut and splattered Ivory panel. The sentiment was die cut four times, layered, then adhered to the and Nuvo drops added around it once it was added to the Chocolate Chip card base. Because the leaves extend beyond the card base, I made a custom envelope from retired SU envelope paper, on which the card is laying in the photo.

Love this card!! I love the panels on an angle like that and how you framed the corner of one with the flowers. Also the perfect piece of dp to help you out there!! :>)

What a beautiful Hello card this is. I love all the extra details you add to your cards that give them that little somethin-somethin extra that means so much. Your custom-made envelope showcases your card so beautifully too. ~Karen.

I love so many things about this card, I don't know where to start! I love that the flowers and leaves extend off the edge of the card--it lends such a natural beauty. Then the matching oversize envelope, necessary, but a lovely complement to the card. The flowers, sentiment, everything! So beautiful!

Pretty with all those flowers, and the spritzed colors in the bg!
