Used more of my new Impression Obsession dies and sentiment (sm. cabin die, birch tree die (birds), forest die, deer trio die. Brush stroke Christmas (sentiment): all found here).
Created a tissue paper bg, scrunched it up and then glued it to cardstock the same size as my card front. Splattered white acrylic paint for snow and then some blue and black splatters for added interest, then spritzed the whole panel so it sparkles IRL! When dry, I attached to the card front.
Die cut my cabin, the deer, the birds, and the forest die, and sponged edges of the cabin and deer for added dimension. Die cut a frame and 2 snow banks (stamped sentiment on the first one) and assembled all (the frame, cabin, and snow banks are popped up with dimensional tape for a shadow box effect.
Paper: neenah white cs, soft suede, cheery cobbler
Paper Size: A2
Ink: cherry cobbler, soft suede, vintage tea
Accessories: sm. cabin die, birch tree die (birds), forest die, deer trio die: all impression obsession, snow bank die, rectangle die, dimensional tape, sponges

What a gorgeous winter scene card you have created here. Everything is so carefully thought out and executed. I really love how you kept most of the design white so your gorgeous bg showcases the house, buck and cardinals perfectly. This is a really wonderful card indeed! ~Karen.

Oh Maura, my favourite cabin is back, love it. We all need to gather at this place and talk cards. Thanks for playing along in the first CAS challenge of 2018.
