| | I made this Christmas card for my dear Friend Dawn who has a wonderful clean and simple style of card making that is also very elegant. I actually CASED this card in my gallery when I made this card: Under the Mistletoe by Art Deco Diva at Splitcoaststampers. The first card I made was for a color challenge so on this card I left the blue shading off of the 2 corners. Not sure which card I like more or maybe I like them both equally. This card design was inspired by a card Effie, the owner of The Ton Stamps, made on her site with a holly stamp here: https://www.thetonstamps.com/collect...s/holly-branch. The bow is 2 different dies. The back layer of the bow is from a Tim Holtz wreath die and the top bow is from a Cheery Lynn bow die. The middle panel of this card is cut out and raised up using 3M Foam tape. This card is a lot of fun to make. I am trying to get all the cards I made in 2017 uploaded to my gallery in 2017. Thanks for looking! ~Karen. |
