CONGRATULATIONS to Nan Cee's, our new FS. I enjoyed looking through your gallery. I chose High Tide - #1 because I 'had' to have this set & have only used the water stamp & #2 because I drove by our lighthouse today. If I may elaborate a bit ... my avatar is the Fairport Harbor lighthouse/museum. It sits on a hill (known as the beach hill) over looking Lake Erie. While driving around the Port, I saw that the harbor is iced over, but beyond the break wall the lake is open water, one of the reasons we've been 'blessed' with about 2-1/2 feet of snow since Dec. 24. (and why Erie, PA has even more) That is why I went with a winter scene. Anyway, back to my card. Things I changed from your beautiful card are:
- colors
- winter scene
- lighthouse on the opposite side
- masked off some of the birds
- used a torn edge for the sky - even saw some blue sky today!
Enjoy your time in the spotlight.
Thanks for stopping by.
HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone

I know what you mean about getting a stamp set and then not using it....I'm guilty as charged too, Karen! I think I need to stop purchasing any more for awhile. Beautiful snowy scene...love your sparkle!

This is really gorgeous Karen and such a nice tribute to Nan Cee's inspiration card. I would never have thought to use this set for a winter scene and it looks incredible. I love the sparkle you added too! Happy New Year's to you. ~Karen M.

I can imagine that the ice is building up on Lake Erie with all the cold cold temps, Karen. A beautiful card to depict this. Happy, Healthy New Year to you.
