Pretty hard to pick my favourite techniquea as I love so many of them, but heat embossing, stenciling, and smooshed or splashed backgrounds have to be high on the list!
Using Distress Antique Linen and Shabby Shutters, I created a splash watercolour background. Then I laid the Holly Bough stencil over the background and sponged over the stencil with Distress Evergreen Bough ink, cleaned off the stencil, put it back and went over it with glass bead gel. When it was dry, I added glue and red glitter to the berries.
I found a small sentiment stamp that would fit amongst the holly and heat embossed it.
I trimmed the panel down to fit behind the die cut pierced frame (die cut twice and glued together for more dimension).
Happy New Year to everyone at SCS!

Oh, I adore glass bead glitter gel and you used it brilliantly on this stunning card. I love how you framed out this wonderful holly and berry image and kept this the focal of the card. This is going right into my favs! ~Karen.
