Continuing with my favorite stamps this year (PB nature stamps) and favorite MM technique (sponging, splattering w/ paint and spritzing w/water)...I liked the blues and purples in this image here - and clearly it's not possible for me to stop making cards with moons and winter skies (starting next Christmas' stash already)!
This card was amazingly easy! Masked for my moon an my snow bank and then sponged the sky. Splattered with water, blotted with paper towel and then removed masks, and stamped branch and sentiment. I also added some soft sponging to the moon so it wouldn't look so dramatically white. To finish I splattered white acrylic paint for more snow and added snow to the branches with white gel pen.

Wow! Stunning!!! Simply gorgeous winter card! I had selected that photo inspiration too because it's so striking. I ended up going a different direction but it's super cool.

What a fabulous card! Maura, you make the most awesome bg's for the PB images. It's amazing what a bit of white paint does. snow on branches, wonderful against the colors. Right into my favorites.........again! Thanks for playing in my challenge today, and Happy New Year!
