I love World Market & one of things I miss most after moving, is that I won't be able to stop in whenever I want. For my Airplane card, I was inspired by THIS. The colors are so pretty & thought they'd be wonderful w/ this vintage airplane image.
I cut the piece of designer paper w/ the text & put it into my Misti & stamped the Airplane first w/ Memento ink. After coloring it w/ Prismacolor pencils, I stamped over it w/ Versafine to bring the details back then antiqued it a bit by sponging on some antique linen ink & edged it w/ a black marker. The greeting was stamped on a small piece of vellum & I die cut a stitched flag frame to go over it.

I agree.....the colors are gorgeous.....so soft and muted. Your map under, and recipe print with the airplane is so interesting, Julie! Love the addition of the vellum and framing!!
