Carla's Tick Tock challenge was a perfect one for me to make a birthday card for my brother's ex wife. She was born in New Year's Eve, so I think the time theme works really well. I started off with the repeating pattern of flying clocks that I found online. Then when I searched my stamp database in Evernote for "time" I came up with this SU stamp that I've never used before. I stamped it into three pieces. I cut the top layer and the yellow layer by hand and scanned the other layer into my ScanNCut so I could cut it just the right sized oval for it. Then I sized the oval up a bit and cut it out of black. So ultimately this card that I thought was going to be really quick made me a little late for work. Oh well, there's nobody here today anyway.

What a fabulous card for someone born on New Year's Eve. My niece was born on that day too. These clock images with wings is so fun and delightful and you paired it with the perfect focal sentiment too. It really warms my heart that you are sending a card to your ex SIL, and I know she is going to be thrilled with this wonderful card from you! Hugs! ~Karen.

I love that flying clocks paper. It pretty much illustrates how time is going for me. The older I get the faster it seems to be flapping those wings. LOL I have not heard of Evernote (as I am not too up on the latest, greatest technical ways to organize), but it sounds ideal if it helps you locate things in huge stamp collections. You even have a cross reference for words for sentiments? That would really be handy!
